Mahesh Bhatt and Sridevi: Director talks about Bollywood's ultimate leading lady: Gumrah pics

Mahesh Bhatt gave an interview to Filmfare magazine in April 2012 issue and reflected on working with Sridevi back in the '90s, in the wonderful thriller, Gumrah.  He says;

SRIDEVI: She was an acting machine, a thorough professional. She shot a fight sequence for Gumrah in water despite running a temperature of 102 degrees. Her face is a tranquil lake but there's a volcano inside, which comes across on screen.

Not only Mahesh but the Bhatt family is a Sridevi fan club. Be it Mukesh Bhatt, Pooja Bhatt or Alia Bhatt,  all have professed their love for the actress. 

Some images below from 2009, when it looked like Sridevi would not return from her self-imposed cinematic exile, the director went up on stage to grab a pic with the legendary actress. His fandom is oh-so-clear.
