Vidya Balan fans out at Sridevi

 Vidya Balan's turned out to be one of the most vocal supporters and fans of Sridevi. She gushed about Sridevi throughout the red carpet media meet-n-greet and after, about the film and Sridevi. A true fan indeed. She joins a long list of famous fans here!

The success of English Vinglish and as a result Sridevi's successful comeback as compared to other actresses like Madhuri Dixit, Karisma Kapoor and few others goes to show that there is no way a good film with decent performances will ever fail.

Most of the Bollywood biggies had turned up for English Vinglish's premiere and quite a few actresses like Bipasha Basu, Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, Tabu as a mark of respect for Sridevi, stood in a queue after the grand premiere of the film because Sridevi was greeting all her VIP guests with a motichur ladoo which she had made especially for the show. It was like offering prasad to all her well wishers. Vidya Balan, apparently, was so moved and overwhelmed by Sridevi's performance that she rubbed her shoulders with the veteran star and said, "Now I am also a star!" Meanwhile, it is learnt that Sridevi's hubby Boney Kapoor is guiding his wife in her career. He has advised her to not to go on film signing spree.

Obviously, post English Vinglish she has been offered quite a few films. She was also offered a film by Yash Raj before English Vinglish which she had turned down, say industry sources. Apparently, Boney is planning a film with Gauri Shinde again. Having a successful producer as husband is definitely a boon for an actress especially when it is her second innings.
