There really is no controversy here - just a quick update; originally Beta was supposed to feature Sridevi and Anil Kapoor. Dhak dhak karne laga was a Hindi take on the Sridevi - Chiranjeevi song Abbanee Tiyyani from the Telugu smash hit Jagadeka Veerudu Atiloka Sundari (1991).
Noting the wild popularity of the beat, the muscians got the rights to the original tune for a Hindi remake (its done all the time).
During pre-production, Sridevi noted that she had signed too many films with Anil Kapoor and opted out of Beta before the film started shooting - and Madhuri Dixit was brought in for one of her, now career-defining, performances.
Sridevi mentioned in subsequent interviews that she had no regrets opting out as she remained friendly with the producer and director and all those involved with the making of the film. In the early 90s, 'Sridevi was all-consumed with work on several big projects. No loss, no harm, no foul!
i guess whatever Ram Charan spoke was never telecast on colors channel in the dance show.
