Best Actress at the 4th Jagran Film Festival: Sridevi for English Vinglish (2012)

Sridevi was awarded the Best Actress honours for her splendid performance in English Vinglish at the fourth annual Jagran Film Festival. Sadly, Sridevi was unable to attend to pick up her much-deserved award.

The Best Actor award was shared by two actors; Ranbir Kapoor (Barfi!) and Farhan Akhtar (Bhaag Milkha Bhaag). The awards for Best Director and Best Film were given to Abhishek Kapoor for Kai Po Che! Veteran actor Manoj Kumar was conferred with the Lifetime Achievement award at the six-day long film festival, held at Mumbai (Andheri).
