As the remake of the original Himmatwala (1983) was a damp squib at the box-office, as predicted by many, we continue to reiterate, you cannot repeat the magic of the original screen queen; Sridevi.
Rumours are remakes of many of Sridevi's iconic songs, dances and films such as Chandni, Chaalbaaz, Laadla and even a sequel to Khuda Gawah are in the offing (accordingly to wildly unreliable online reports and Bollywood blogs!). Proves to show, there's a vast absence of talent in the current scenario and a paucity of original ideas. Sad.
There's only one Sridevi folks, you're wasting your time and money on finding a gilded edge on a golden original.
