A few pics of Sridevi from the Collector's Edition of The Best of Filmfare. A gorgeous tome filled with memorable pics of Bollywood celebs.

Love, love this pic of Sridevi from Roop Ki Rani, Choron Ka Raja. The comedic title song is one of the highlights in the film. In the magazine, the caption is entirely wrong (it says its from Hawa Hawaii in Mr India. Er. No). And of course the film was released in the '90s, not the '80s. But... whatever. We're just happy to have a clear snap of Sri looking adorable!!

From the mag,

Sridevi's Dominance of the Marquee
Twenty six year ago, she had challenged the hegemony of stardom. The once sex-charged symbol of thunder thighs and gyrating dance moves had tamed the showbiz beast. She was called the next Rekha. Then came the Sridevi versus Jaya Prada saga. She was the only female star to ever refuse films with Amitabh Bachchan, Sri focussed on blockbusters like Mr India. Her pairing with Jeetendra saw hits Tohfa, Himmatwala and Justice Chaudhary
