The 17th edition of Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival will see the team of the film, Mr. India, reuniting on October 31, 2015, as a part of Movie Mela, reports Mumbai Mirror.
The cast and the crew of the film will take the audience on a journey through the making of one of India's most-loved films. The report quotes Anil Kapoor, the protagonist of the film, as saying that the team of Mr. India was completely smitten by Sridevi who was a huge star then. Anil revealed that during the shoot of the popular song, 'Kaate nahi katate,' he was treated as a junior artist rather than the film's leading man and that he had to beg, plead, threaten, sulk and fight for one close-up, which would be taken at 4 am. Anil spilled the beans saying that Sridevi was a complete pro who would shoot a rain song even when she would be burning with fever.
Asked if Mr. India 2 was on the cards, Anil said that he does not know if the sequel will come next year but he promises that it will definitely come before they bid adieu to the world.
