Despite mixed reviews by critics and the media, Puli has fared well at the box-office - so far. With two back to back hits, Sridevi remains the undisputed 'comeback' queen! Both her film releases post-children and a long self-imposed hiatus, English Vinglish and Puli have done well at the box-office and in both films, Sridevi has garnered maximum praise. Superstar Rajnikanth has gone on to praise the film and its stars in his usual, magnanimous manner.
