Manish Malhotra confirms working on the film Mom with Sridevi

With so little news trickling out from the sets of Sridevi's upcoming film, we fans take in every snippet and (reliable!) newsbyte with relish. On the eve of Manish Malhotra's fashion week show, he spoke to The Hindu where he confirmed that he's working on the look for the leading lady, Sridevi herself. "Next year, it will be Mom, for which I will take care of Sridevi’s clothes...".

As Sabyasachi did the entire look for the actress in the widely lauded English Vinglish, we cannot wait to see the magic Manish will work. The designer and the actress have collaborated and worked together on film, magazine shoots since the early 1990s. When Sridevi went on her self-imposed hiatus, the few times she appeared in public was for Manish. We cannot wait to see what the two do for the highly anticipated thriller, Mom.
