Favourite Moment in Lamhe: Anupam Kher and Sridevi's parody

Just everything about the parody song sequence in the magical film Lamhe is gorgeous. Comedy isn't taken as seriously as it should be - but horray for Bollywood - both Anupam Kher and Sridevi won trophies for their respective performances in Lamhe.

Sridevi attends Padmavat Screening

Jan 2018. Sridevi has attended almost all the movies Sanjay Leela Bhansali has made over the years and has professed being an admirer of his work. Bhansali has praised Sridevi in the past, but within limitations. His fondness (and preference as a matter of fact) for Madhuri Dixit is well recorded.

Sridevi wins the style legend (female) award at Hindustan Times Most Stylish Awards

Epic Beauties: Aishwarya Rai, Sridevi, Deepika Padukone

The 2018 edition of HTIndia’s Most Stylish Awards were held last night and Sridevi walked away with Style Legend (Female) award.

In her speech, Sridevi said, “Boneyji gives finishing touches to my looks” while she was presented the trophy by her “favourite” designer Manish Malhotra.

Subsequently, her most-frequent co-star from the '70s and '80s, Kamal Haasan received the award for Hall of Fame (male). The last film most people saw the two screen icons together in was Sadma (1983) - which was released 35 years ago. On stage, Haasan said, “I am happy to received the award from Sridevi, it was a big nostalgia trip.”

As we scanned the audience, the moment that took our breath away was the front row of the venue which saw iconic Indian beauties, Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan, Sridevi and Deepika Padukone sitting together. Aishwarya and Sridevi have been friends for ages and them holding hands while chatting was an endearing moment.

Pretty in pink Sridevi stunned on the red carpet and added to her gilded collection of trophies. Just another day and night for the legend.
