Sridevi in Nigahein (1989). Though the film was not a blockbuster like its predecessor Nagina, Sridevi looked stunning throughout, danced and acted beautifully as she always does. Though this film did not meet the sky-high expectations, 1989 was undoubtedly Sridevi's year ; with back to back successes of Chaalbaaz and Chandni, double nominations and a win, Sridevi ruled the 1980s in Bollywood with flourish and fanfare, dominating box-office, media and movies.
Sridevi as both the mother and daughter in Nigahein - although she appears as Rajni (the mother) only briefly, technically she had a double role right?!
