Sridevi and Jaya Prada. Hmm. The two were genuinely arch rivals - unlike the paper war between Madhuri Dixit and Sridevi which was largely made up by the media to sell magazines. In our vast archive of magazine articles and clips collected, the always outspoken Jaya Prada has said several uncharitable things about Sridevi over the years, but oddly, fans are more outspoken about the alleged war between Devi and Dixit. Just search on Google or YouTube and you can find a lot of soundbytes from Jaya Prada on how "arrogant" Sridevi was.... which we find rather rich coming from her. 

Now that Sri's passed, we'll let bygones be bygones... but one never forgets.

Bless both the leading ladies as, on screen, they hid whatever they felt well and acted as close, beloved sisters in several films with ease and conviction. In the land of make-believe, we believed the two adored each other in several films be it in Tamil, Telugu or Hindi, sacrificing themselves for the other sister. They don't call it 'acting' for nothing...
