From the early days - we have archive of magazine features from 1985 till 2018 - comparisons were made between the two leading ladies of Indian cinema; Sridevi and Madhuri Dixit.

While there's nothing but pure vitriol among the respective fan camps, the two divas of Bollywood mostly gave light to the other (no shade!) and spoke well about each other's work. We are fans of both  actresses and dancers - and have no issues.

Madhuri Dixit stated that she felt a seismic shock when she heard the news of Sridevi's untimely passing and it shook her to the core - especially while thinking about the two children Sri left behind (being a mother of two kids herself).

Its bizarre how fate and destiny works. How these two resplendent stars had parallel lives in Bollywood and beyond.
