Sridevi and Rishi Kapoor in Nagina (1986)

Above: Sridevi's looks and wardrobe for the film Nagina.

During an interview, Sridevi once said that the climax dance sequence of the song and dance routine "Main Teri Dushman" was her favorite dance in her long career - and she credits almost all of it to her choreographer Saroj Khan (scroll through the archives and see how often she brings up Saroj Khan and the influence the iconic choreographer had on her).

The finale dance off was shot on the final day of the film's schedule. The director [Harmesh Malhotra] told everyone else that their work is done and asked choreographer Saroj Khan to shoot the last song in one day. She turned to Sridevi and told her to be on set by 7:00 am in the morning - and Sridevi arrived early at 6:30 am knowing they were on a tight schedule. While they were shooting the song, the set was dissembled by the technicians. In the end there was only one wall left in front of which a portion of the song was shot. What could have been a regular song and dance routine turned into a chart-buster climax.
