Sridevi with Poonam Dhillon on the sets of Pathar Ke Insan (1990)

Released on 15 January 1990, Pathar Ke Insaan was 80s Bollywood masala fare released a little too late. 

Poonam Dhillon and Sridevi played sisters in the film, one a singer and the other a dancer (catering to Sridevi's formidable skills as a dancer). Though they had intense sibling rivalry on screen in the film, the two were friends off-screen and starred in several movies together over the years.

The movie was directed by Shomu Mukherjee (father of Kajol). Though the film bombed badly at the box-office, its remembered for the stunning dances Sridevi did in the film - and created a life-long fan of Sridevi in Kajol - who visited the actress on set.
