Sridevi's nouveau riche looks for her role in Judaai (1997). Not the dissimialirity in wardrobe and style in the before and after money phase. From her simple gajra and bandini cotton saris to gaudy silks, glitter and goops of makeup, Sridevi (and her stylist - think Manish Malhotra did all her looks) understood the assignment.
How she gleefully approached the role of a flawed, money-grabbing housewife with wit and savvy in the typical Bollywood melodrama. Personally, not a huge fan of this Bollywood blockbuster - it would be unbearable without Sridevi's radiance. Of course, because of her, have seen the movie several times.
