A revisit to the first official photographs of Sridevi meeting Boney Kapoor - at the launch of the Kapoor home production, Govinda (1984). The movie was never made, instead they went ahead and made Mr.India.
As images from that massive launch show, it was perhaps the first time Bollywood stalwarts Yash Chopra and Javed Akhtar also met Sridevi in person - the siren of the south, who was a mega-star in Tollywood but a newcomer to Bollywood.
In 1984, Sridevi was already crowned the box-office queen of Bollywood with her steady stream of hits starting from Himmatwala.
