We just watched bits and pieces of The Academy Awards 2020. Reminded of this time back in 2018 when Shashi Kapoor and Sridevi were honoured at the 90th Academy Awards ceremony in the 'Memoriam' montage. Many people in the Indian film industry noted the same with a heavy heart.
There are some... lesser mindsets and writers online who have written inaccurately that Sridevi and Shashi Kapoor received an Oscar - no, they didn't. It really isn't the same thing.
Blogging and online writing seems to fester inaccurate information with zero-fact checking. I urge all fans and sensible readers to think for themselves and question the veracity and reliability of information provided. Including us. We are grateful when people send us corrections and amendments and this blog is a constant effort in writing only correct information about 'the' Sridevi.
