At SIIMA's tribute to Sridevi, actress Khusbhoo said that wherever she went around the globe, people asked her if she was from the land of Sridevi; there were posters and portraits of Sridevi she found in Istanbul, the US. Sridevi's popularity in Russia remains so huge, we find rare pics of her from Siberian fans of the Indian actress. One of our fav web sites dedicated to Sridevi was in Japanese - and this was long before Madam in New York (the Japanese translated version of English Vinglish).
Immune and blissfully unaware of her global reach and popularity, the late, great, Sridevi.
