Produced by Kranthi Kumar for the Sri Annapoorna International banner and directed by Dasari Narayana Rao. It stars N. T. Rama Rao, Sridevi and Sharada, with music composed by Chakravarthy.
The film was remade in Hindi as Sarfarosh (1985) - where Sridevi reprised her role in the remake, but with new co-star Jeetendra!
Sridevi was a whopping 40 years younger than NTR, but the movie was such a smash hit, they ended up working together more than once.
