Sridevi started her career as a child actor at the age of 4 in the Tamil movie Kandan Karunai in 1967.
Subsequently, she played the role of young Muruga in Thunaivan.
Sridevi made her debut in Telugu cinema as a child artist with the 1970 film Maa Nanna Nirdoshi.
