Sridevi
She made her debut in K. Balachander's Moondru Mudichu in the role of a demure village belle. However, it was with Bharathi Raja's Pathinaru Vayathinile where her famous thunder thighs were first revealed that Sridevi rose to superstardom. In a scene where she crosses a river, Raja made Sridevi lift her skirt as far up as the censors would allow. But it was in Telugu films, which brought her a lot of money, that Sri really started her strip-tease. Paired with two of the oldest members of the geriatrics club, N.T. Rama Rao and Akineni Nageswara Rao, Sri did innumerable wet sequences in Telugu films before moving over to Bombay.
