Telugu superstars Sridevi and Chiranjeevi at the mahurat of S.P. Parasuram back in August 1993

Rare images of Telugu superstars Sridevi and Chiranjeevi at the launch of Sridevi's last Telugu film in the 90s; S.P.Parasuram. 

After delivering the biggest hit of the decade Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari  (which was later dubbed into Hindi has Aadmi aur Apsara), this was one of the most anticipated Telugu films of the year. 

Expectations were so sky-high, there was no way of meeting it; the film was not as beloved as its predecessor blockbuster. 

A fine film, Sridevi looked gorgeous and performed well - as she always does.
