Many new-age Johnny-come-lately fans of Sridevi are shocked when they hear that Sridevi lost the Best Actress award (for her faultless performance in Sadma) to Shabana Azmi. Even Sridevi - ever the observant one - knew it was Ms Azmi's yea - I mean, look at the competition.
