Born on October 21, 1931, today is birth anniversary of Bollywood icon Shammi Kapoor. Sridevi was a huge fan of Shammiji's songs and dances and has said in features in the 80s that he was her favourite.
Sridevi acted with Shammi Kapoor in three films in the 1980s including Himmat aur Mehanat (left), where Sridevi was a nurse/caretaker in the movie.
