Colours and costumes: Sridevi's festival of colours on screen. 

Film and fashion go together  especially now as all trends are dictated by movie stars in India today. However, in the 80s and early 90s, not so much the case as the outfits were costumes not high fashion. 

Sridevi mentioned that the era had a "charm of its own" to hush the naysayers but then, not everyone looked as good as she did, no matter how absurd the look.
