We've written a lot about the most famous feud in Bollywood history, so we won't delve into it any further but Sridevi and Jaya Prada made Indian tabloids so juicy, gossipy and fun in the 1980s - long before muted diplomacy (and Kangana Ranaut-ism) became the norm.
Believe it or not, at a time, Jaya Prada was once a favourite for us too; gorgeous beyond belief (see how stunning she is in Sharaabi), a gifted actress (Sargam is an acting tour de force that sadly, she never bettered) and a true blue movie star (she absolutely shines in any and every K Vishwanath film).
However, Jaya Prada was also a spitfire and the things she's said in the press were either endlessly entertaining or a bit too caustic. But in essence, she was a great star of her time.
We wish the star-actress the best for a memorable 60th birthday.
