Here we find rare photos of Nutan with Sridevi back stage of a show, Nutan and Sridevi worked together in three films; Karma (below pics) and Guru and the unreleased Garajna. 
Born on June 4, 1936, had breast cancer not taken Nutan, the thespian would have turned 86 today.
We honour her memory and look back at her award-winning roles; Nutan won a whopping six Filmfares; Best Actress for incredibly iconic roles and films starting with Seema (1957), Sujata (1960), Bandini (1964), Milan (1968), Main Tulsi Tere Aangan Ki (1979) and Best Supporting Actress award for Meri Jung (1986).
To draw parallels; Sridevi won six awards; Meendum Kokila (1982), Nagina (1987), Mr.India (1988), Chaalbaaz (1990), Lamhe (1992) and Kshana Kshanam (1993),
Both actresses were honoured with a Padma Shri for their contribution to cinema too; Nutan in 1974 and Sridevi in 2013.
