English Vinglish show again: Ten Years on, Better than Ever: Sridevi's gentle Perfection

The cast and crew of the much-loved film English Vinglish gathered in Mumbai for a special screening - in honour of the film's 10-year-anniversary. 

The absence of the international star-cast aside, Sujata Kumar and Sridevi's conspicuous absence left many with a lump in their throat. 

Was great to see the Mumbai cast and crew - how much the adorable kids in the film have grown since then... 

Ageless Gauri Shinde with her timeless classic. To quote her through the voice of Amitabh Bachchan, "Pehli baar yaadgaar honi chahiye." And what a memorable first film it was. Have seen it more times than I'd like to confess...
