From 1988 , the placement of portraits of the two actresses, and comparison in print between Sridevi and Madhuri Dixit started - they had a media made symbiotic relationship whether they liked it or not. They were each others' reference point in print. The huge archive of images of the two placed next to each other is incredible - we have nearly 100 posts and pics on this blog alone.
The degree and depth of sadness Madhuri had when Sridevi suddenly passed away was genuine - the extent of their war was not. Only in the minds of their respective fans was it WWIII. Both seemed pretty chill about it - and often laughed it off.
Personally, a fan of both. Well, more of Sri - OBVIOUSLY. Spent 23 years on this site dedicated to Sridevi.
