Sridevi on the sets of Patthar Ke Insan (Man of Stone), released on 15 January 1990, just a few months after the double whammy of Chandni and Chaalbaaz. Directed and produced by Shomu Mukherjee (father of Kajol!), it stars Vinod Khanna, Jackie Shroff, Sridevi and Poonam Dhillon in pivotal roles. The Hindi remake of the Tamil film Vidiyum Varai Kaathiru (1981).
