Over the holidays, went down a movie marathon of yesteryear movies and was amazed by the range of Nutan. Was she the greatest Hindi film actress of all-time? So much is said of Nargis, Meena Kumari. Madhubala was mostly known for her looks, Vyjanthimala for her dancing prowess and superstardom, but Nutan was the definitive actor's actor.
Having grown up watching Rekha and Sridevi, there are no surprises here. Their range and superstardom was massive.
