Sridevi and Jaya Prada in Tohfa. Released 40 years ago, the movie was a smash hit. A tribute to the skills of the two Telugu leading ladies, not for one second on screen can you see the ambivalence they felt for the other-- when it was palpable off screen. They acted as sisters and best-friends in several movies; 8 Hindi and 4 Telegu.
