In fact, Jayaji and Sridevi met often in the past - an impressive archive of pics here of the two legends. Politics took her away from cinema, and the loss is ours. Jaya Bhadhuri was an exceptional actress and star, articulate, intelligent and brutally honest to a fault. New gen can't take it--but we remember all our matriarchs as such!
