Released in Dec 1983, the music of Kalaakaar was sensational and Sridevi looked very pretty in the movie - but the film was a huge flop. Sridevi had several releases in 1983 that catapulted her to the number one spot in less than a year. The lead actor however, tripped.
Non-actor Kunal Goswami, son of cine-legend Manoj Kumar, appeared in about 11 films, one bigger flop after another. The OG nepo kid's career didn't take off in cinema, but we hear his business is doing well. Everyone finds their own path eventually.
