Flashback: Sridevi, Poonam Dhillon and Anil Kapoor.The cherubic actress Poonam Dhillon was the first to kick-start luxury celebrity vanity vans in the late '80s (early '90s) in Bollywood. She invited friends and her frequent co-stars Sridevi and Anil Kapoor at the launch as VIP guests for the ribbon cutting.
The two stars took time off from their busy schedule for Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja (hence Anil Kapoor's hat and Sri's perm - the looks from the film) and met the press for a few mins.
Lovely to see media-shy Sridevi at an event and she looked so pretty in her simple blue sari and rockin' her over-sized Jackie-O' shades.
Sridevi and Poonam remain friends on and off-screen and have starred together in films such as Pathar Ke Insan, Judaai, Karma, Sone pe Suhaga, Himmat Aur Mehnat among others.
Poonam didn't always have an equal role or footing as Sridevi in films but she took it in her stride and said, "I was a big fan of Sridevi and she was a lovely person."
