A young, thin Javed Akhtar. Sridevi in between her two most famous producers; Yash Chopra and Boney Kapoor! Rare pics.
The most comprehensive fan blog dedicated to India's most beautiful and greatest actress of all-time (in our humble opine!), Sridevi. Sridevi aka Sreedevi, ruled Indian cinema (with awesome performances in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi films) in a career spanning 50 incredible years featuring 266 films. Born in Sivakasi on August 13 1963, her untimely and tragic death on February 24, 2018 left a nation in mourning. In our hearts, she'll forever be, the eternal Queen of Bollywood.

Your blog is very attention-grabbing. I am loving all of the in
turn you are sharing with each one!…
To the person who runs this Blog. What aren't any of Sri Devi Akka's movie stills from Tamil, Telugu, Kannada or Malayalam not in this Blog. You know as Akka has commented many times, it was because of the discipline and dedication she learnt in the South Film Industry that she could withstand and leave behind the competition in the Hindi Film Industry. Has anyone seen Meendum Kokila, Sikkapu Rojakkal or Johnny just to name a few. As I have said somewhere else in this Blog, the real true actress came out only in South Films. In Hindi, it was the image first, all about looking glamourous and then only the acting. I really wish I could hear Akka speak in Tamil again. English Viglish I think?
ReplyDeletecheers!!
DeleteFYI It's director Bapu in the second picture (with glasses).
ReplyDeleteHe is very famous in telugu and is considered a legend.
He did a number of films in Hindi too (Woh Saat Din etc.)
Not sure if he did any films with Sri.
