Sridevi in the Telugu flick Jagadeka Veerudu Atiloka Sundari (1990) that was later dubbed into Hindi as Aadmi aur Apsara (1991).

One of the three Telugu films Sridevi did with southern superstar Chiranjeevi, the original film was the biggest hit the two worked in. The producers dubbed the film into Hindi and released it the following year. But the dubbed version didn't garner as much appreciation or box-office as the original.

For Sridevi fans who don't understand the language, it was great to see the fantasy film where she essayed the role of a celestial being in this supernatural fantasy flick. A dash of comedy, action, humour, kids, a fairy tale... it had a bit of everything in it. Considered a classic of the genre and a box-office blockbuster.
