Lamhe (and Silsila) remained Yash Chopra's favourite films that he made, in a career studded with super hits, masterful movies and genre defining films. He spoke so bravely about how the failure of the film affected him in the early 90s.
He came back with a bang - and never looked back as he went on to produce and direct blockbusters till the very end.

Rumour has it that he offered Sridevi parts in all his movies but she refused... for reasons best known to her.
Well, Sri did say that she would have done Darr had she been offered Shahrukh's villainous part... but we're not sure if she said it as a quip or she really meant it!
