In an interview in the early 1980s, Sridevi had said on record, "Rekha is my only friend in the industry."
Rekha, being a top star actress in her own right, popped into visit Sri often and so far, we have three major instances when the actress was on Sridevi's set for a quick chit-chat.
In chronological order;
Above Sridevi in the film Masterji (1985) - Rekha and Sridevi on the sets of Masterji.
The two actresses on the sets of Nazrana back in 1985 - the film was eventually released in 1987 after much delay. Clearly the papz went click-crazy, as we have dozens of images from this moment, shot by several photographers here in the archive.
And finally, Rekha and Sridevi on the sets of the film Mr.India (1987). Just as Sridevi was shooting the most iconic song from the film, Kate Nahin Katthe Yeh Din Yeh Raat.
