Janhvi Kapoor wears Sridevi's Manish Malhotra designed sari: Styled to perfection

Sridevi wore a dual colour, gorgeously embroidered Manish Malhotra designed sari to Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma's wedding reception back in Dec 2017. A look so memorable, a keen fan recreated the look in its entirety with a replica doll. With a statement necklace that went on to spur false reports that Sridevi had given the bejewelled accessory as a gift to Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan. Did any of the bloggers or fashion writers bother to fact check that? As always - nope! But that newsbyte got recycled several times. One keen observer pointed out this year that though the necklace was similar, it wasn't the same! Sure, Aishwarya Rai and Sridevi were close and Sridevi was famously generous to her friends, but for Sri to gift a statement necklace of this size to a fellow top star posthumuously?! I question the mind and logic of the writer who originally wrote that fiction. But as the net has often proved, news doesn't have to be true, it just has to be viral! 

What has been reworn is of course the dazzling sari that Jhanvi Kapoor wore earlier this week at the premiere of her upcoming film Homebound. Head-to-toe, the young style icon-in-the-making looked picture perfect on the red carpet. As the (mostly self-proclaimed and otherwise unemployed) fashion critics on social media state, 10/10, no notes!
