The most comprehensive fan blog dedicated to India's most beautiful and greatest actress of all-time (in our humble opine!), Sridevi. Sridevi aka Sreedevi, ruled Indian cinema (with awesome performances in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi films) in a career spanning 50 incredible years featuring 266 films. Born in Sivakasi on August 13 1963, her untimely and tragic death on February 24, 2018 left a nation in mourning. In our hearts, she'll forever be, the eternal Queen of Bollywood.

"Amitabh sings Jooma Chumma to Sridevi in The Show of all Shows!"
As the headline reads, this was 'the' greatest show of shows held on stage in London with an ALL STAR cast led by Amitabh Bachchan, Sridevi, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Neelam, Anupam Kher...
Sridevi did ONE interview in 1987, where she briefly mentioned that she preferred not to do films where she had little to do and as an aside said, like her films with Amitabh Bachchan, where she was mostly there for the song and dance routines but didn't have a meaty role. For those who know cinema history, Sridevi was not the first actress to point this out. Hema Malini famously said the same in the early 1980s that, though she worked in several films with Amitabh Bachchan, it was no career-defining title role. Sridevi's quote did the circuit for years before she acted with Big B in Khuda Gawah, where she, not B, had a double role.
Their films were blockbusters; their stage shows were smash hits and even Big B's guest appearance was talked about all year. Sridevi's adorable appearance on Bachchan-led Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? ie Kaun Banega Crorpati, was a TRP hit too.

Salman Khan, Sridevi, Amitabh Bachchan, Neelam, Aamir Khan - early 1990s, there was no Bollywood show bigger on earth!
Happy Birthday Ramesh Sippy!
A rare picture of Amitabh Bachchan, Sridevi and producer and director Ramesh Sippy at the mahurat / launch of Ram ki Sita Shyam ki Geeta.
It was a comic caper with a double role for both Amitabh Bachchan and Sridevi - allegedly, this was the film that had the original song of Jooma Chooma De De - which was later used in Amitabh Bachchan's film Hum (with Kimi Kattkar, not Sri!).
The film was never made - and it is the audience's loss that such extreme talents couldn't see the film come into fruition after a grand, much-talked about launch.
