Ah! Glad we're not the only ones who thought Sridevi looked nothing short of divine when she made her first appearance with the team of English Vinglish at the Sabyasachi show last year. Instead of the usual suspects, Manish Malhotra or Neeta Lulla, the movie production team opted for the new designer who's been making a huge impact in fashion, with his proclivity for ethnic-chic, colours, print and mix-n-match fabric.
Wearing her first Sabyasachi sari (as far as we know) to his FW 2011 show, Sridevi stunned. As usual.
"....The other legendary Bollywood star, Sridevi, arrived with husband Boney Kapoor for Sabysachi’s show, and she too wore one of his sarees. Looking like an Apsara, Sridevi glowed as she obliged fans and photographers for pictures. She wore gold and pearl earrings but left her swan-like neck bare, making for a lovely effect. We liked the fact the she allowed her garment to speak more than her jewelry...."
