Gauri Shinde with Sridevi: Shinde wins Best debut Director

As predicted earlier on, Gauri Shinde walked off with her first (one of many to come we're sure) Filmfare award for the masterful English Vinglish.

As Shinde won Best Debut Director at Filmfare, on stage she said, "It is a pleasure to receive this award. Sri... this is for you – thanks for doing this film. This award is dedicated to my entire English Vinglish family – without you this award would not have been possible."

Now of course we wait until the duo collaborate together again!!
