A special shout out and thank you to Pinky Reddy for releasing these rare pics of Sridevi with all her friends. As many can attest, Sridevi was "the hardest working woman in the Indian film industry;" from the age of 4 till 54, spanning nearly 300 films in five languages - none can question her incredible work ethic.
On the flip side, there are very few snaps of Sridevi on holiday, relaxing, taking time off... She was a workaholic to the core - until she took a complete pause soon after the birth of her first child, Janhvi.
We always felt that she worked too hard, too much, there was no moment of rest even though she rarely looked fatigued.
These images reflect, mercifully, that she had fun, loads of laughs, a good time while she was on a break. Thank GOD!
Always gorgeous, smiling, fashionable... even in a sea of pretty faces, Sri stands out, stands tall. Forever the superstar.
