Happy Birthday Madhuri Dixit! Sridevi celebrates Madhuri on a film set

Back in 1999, Sridevi was on her maternity leave from movies - but her film producer husband was in the thick of production, the film Pukar, starring Madhuri Dixit and Anil Kapoor, was in full steam. 

During the making of the movie, it was Madhuri's birthday when Sridevi popped in to celebrate with her famed contemporary. 

Here we are today, two decades later, its May 15th and its gorgeous Madhuri's birthday - we celebrate her achievements and symbiotic, parallel relationship she had with Sridevi. The two have been interlinked by the media, compared to each other as early as 1985 till date. 

Madhuri Dixit has eulogised Sridevi in print and on television, remarking on the remarkable career and person Sridevi was. Just when you think the media war between the two is long buried, the fan bases get triggered on twitter now and again. Oh well, you can't please them all - you certainly can't appease them.
