Sridevi aka Sreedevi, ruled Indian cinema (with awesome performances in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi films) in a career spanning 50 incredible years featuring 266 films. Born in Sivakasi on August 13 1963, her untimely and tragic death on February 24, 2018 left a nation in mourning. In our hearts, she'll forever be, the eternal Queen of Bollywood.
Diet Sabya's Sridevi throwback. Technically, Reena Roy, Rekha and other yesteryear actresses have done the Nagin role (woman who morphs into snake and vice versa, with other-worldly powers), but none as successfully as Sridevi in Nagina (and to a certain extent Nigahein).
Every iteration of the snake-woman is more or less a tribute to Sridevi's performance and traits she brought to the role.
