The most comprehensive fan blog dedicated to India's most beautiful and greatest actress of all-time (in our humble opine!), Sridevi. Sridevi aka Sreedevi, ruled Indian cinema (with awesome performances in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi films) in a career spanning 50 incredible years featuring 266 films. Born in Sivakasi on August 13 1963, her untimely and tragic death on February 24, 2018 left a nation in mourning. In our hearts, she'll forever be, the eternal Queen of Bollywood.

Lols to Beat Monday Blues: Akshay Kumar on Meri Biwi Ka Jawab Nahin and crushing on Sridevi
Lols to Beat Monday Blues: Akshay Kumar talks about the incomplete film Meri Biwi Ka Jawab Nahin and crushing on Sridevi during his chat on Koffee with Karan.
Easily one of the worst films... quasi-made... we wish it had never released the way it was. Irony being, we used to pray to see the movie, we were so enthusiastic after watching a song on Lehrein. Akshay Kumar and Sridevi looked so good together. But the film
Akshay Kumar sheds light on the absurdity of the film's release, completion.
On the other hand, he did get to work with his crush; 'the' Sridevi.

24 years of Mr Bechara: Sridevi and Anil Kapoor's dramedy
A remake of Tamil hit, expectations were high... but what worked down under, didn't work up north!
On the other hand, it wasn't an outright flop as, for a budget of Rs 3.75 crore, the movie made over Rs 5.84 crore. A respectable overflow, if not a blockbuster. But sadly, it was the year of Raja Hindustani which made a whopping 76.34 crore and took all the awards with it too.
The movie got walloped back in the day - with running jokes like what do you call the producer of the film? Mr. Bechara etc.etc. I don't know. I liked the movie - didn't love it - but there were certainly

Famous Fan: Rupali Ganguly with Sridevi
Famous Fan: Rupali Ganguly joins our long lis of Famous Fans of Sridevi.
Anupamaa actor Rupali Ganguly shared her fondest memories about Sridevi on her birthday. Rupali's father Anil Ganguly was a well-known film director and also the reason why Rupali grew up amongst superstars. The one person she always enamoured her had been the one and only Sridevi.
Rupali says, “I have met many superstars at our place and parties also but I have never taken a photograph with anyone. Sridevi is the only actress with whom I have clicked a picture. Once I met her on the set of Joshilay and I remember she touched my head and I refused to wash my hair for a long time! A couple of years back, at an award function, I met her again. I was so awestruck that I couldn’t say a word. But, then gradually I went up to her and asked her for a selfie and also requested if I can hug her. I also told her about my acting career and then she said yes I have seen you in Aatish’s show (Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai). After hearing that, I was on cloud nine.”
Rupali also revealed how her passing away affected her personally. “I cried inconsolably when Sridevi passed away, I also went to see her and paid my last respects."
Rupali was recently seen dancing to Sridevi's iconic song 'Hawa Hawai', about the same, she added,
"Recently I shot the iconic song Hawa Hawai from Mr.India in Anupamaa and I can't thank Rajan Shahi enough to give me such an opportunity. I have danced in that song for so many times. If audiences are comparing me with her I will take this as a biggest compliment of my acting career.”
